Studio B

Two Studios allow us to offer personal training to all of our students!

Before you choose a martial arts school, compare Northwest Taekwon-Do to all other schools in Arkansas!

Do you want to learn a martial art or just get a black belt?  Is there a difference?  ABSOLUTELY!  At NWATKD, we strive to teach our students the art form.  We have two studios so that we can give the attention to each skill level that they deserve and for which they pay.  Compare our program to all of our competitors before you join.  Do they:

1) Dedicate specific classes to each skill level? (To see our class schedule, click here)

2) Offer pay as you go programs? (You can pay by the month, or receive discounts for 6 month commitments) Click here for our tuition rates.
3) Have specific requirements for each belt level? (Our students can be sure that they will be equally competant to or better than students at the same level in any other school in America)

4) Require mastery of each level before allowing the students to test for the next level?  (We will not let students test before they are ready for the next level.  We take pride in the performance of our students, and do not simply "sell belts.")

5) How much do the other schools charge for a belt test?  We start at $20, and the cost increases to $50 for advanced belts.  The black belt test costs $125.  Please note that we will not let students test until they are proficent at their skills.

6) Do the other schools require A) pattern proficency B) Self Defence proficency C) Sparring proficency before they will allow the student to test for the next level?

7) We have high expectations for our students, and therefore make the commitment to spend the time necessary (the time for which they have paid) with each student so that they can meet our expectations.

8) Can adults train with their children or only with other adults?  We offer both options!

Why are we so strict?  Because we believe that a black belt means something!  It is the equivalent to a college degree, and should be earned.

If you earn a black belt at our school, you will be able to visit any Taekwon-Do school in the country and feel that your skills are at a minimum comparable.  We think, however, that you will be superior in every way.
